Tummy Tub

With winter approaching, I would like to keep my baby's body warm under water during bath time and it's just hard to do that with a normal bath tub not to mention my boy loves to kick during bath time. Thinking of getting Tummy Tub for my 4mths baby - is it good? Anyone using it for their baby?
 
I have one that I'm happy to sell - however, if your baby is already 4mths old, I think he'll be too big over the winter to use the Tummy Tub, to be honest.

I used it with my first and second when they were newborns, and although they found it very relaxing, I found it a bit tricky to use.

Gosh, I'm a useless saleswoman! Still, if anyone wants it, I'll sell it for half price (whatever the price is in Mothercare/Bumps to Babes). Need to check that out.

Hmmm... I saw on YouTube that it can be used for baby up to 1 yr old. There's even one with a 3yr old sitting in it but more for playtime though. How old is your baby? They are too big for it now?
 
I thought it was one of the most useless baby products ever (but everybody is different!). Too much hassle. I had a regular bath with a mold in there so could basically use one hand to wash, and when slightly older, even hands free. Although my kids were very large babies, I don't know how you would use this with a larger child, to be honest.
 
We had a Tummy Tub and absolutely loved it, used it until our daughter was 8 months, she had a great time sitting in it and it kept her warm in the Winter
 
Not sure what a tummy tub is, but if it is one of those tubs where they are basically upright and immersed in water, try using a big nappy bucket (designed for cloth nappies). That's what we used for our 2nd because he was born in winter, we saw an ad for that design and already had the nappy bucket - it worked a treat. He was too big for it after about 3-4 months though, but he was a big baby (about 8kg at that age). But he did love it. Bit hard to get them in and out sometimes though as they are quite slippery.
 
Hi we only used ours until our baby started hating it when she's 5 mos old. My hubby thought she must have felt so fenced in. She's on the middle percentile & not a very big baby. It was good when she was a newborn up until yeah 5 mos. She totally loved it and one day poof she was screaming and wailing to get out of it. We gave it to a friend who's about to give birth. Some babies enjoy it until they're a year old, some babies start outgrowing it after a couple of months. I advise just get a regular baby bathtub, keep the water warm enough for him, and keep the room warm while changing her. It's a waste of money especially if he eventually hates it.
