Tripp Trapp Chair

Hi All,

Wondering if anyone has one of these chairs and can tell me a little more about it? Are they worth the money? Can you even buy them in HK?

Thanks in advance,
Canucker

We have one but bought in London, not sure if you can get them in HK. We started using it when our son was 7 months old. Fully worth the money as seems like he will use it till he leaves home! He can climb into it on his own now, it pulls right up to the table so he feels part of family meals and overall it is a great purchase - looks nice as well, unlike plastic high chairs.

We bought one when our first child was 6 months old. Unfortunately he has never liked it so 18 months later it looks like new!

It looks great, which was my attraction to it but he just doesn't seem comfortable in it. We ended up buying him an ugly plastic highchair. Sigh.

I have heard the 10-year-old son of a friend of a friend... he still uses his Tripp Trapp chair. We already bought a high chair for our 6-month old girl but am wondering if I should get the Tripp Trapp for when she gets a bit older. But the price tag... I think they are about HK$2000. Ouch. But will have to check out the two places listed that sell the chair... thanks for the tips!

Citysuper at Times Square sells the Tripp Trapp as well, it's around the baby food section. They stock all the various wood and fabric colors.

When I was looking to buy my chair a couple of months back, Mothercare only had a very limited range of colors available and told me I had to wait for 12 weeks for new stock to arrive (whereas Citysuper had everything available immediately, including the wooden rail and straps).

If you have a Citysuper card you get an additional 5% off too.

I have 2. Love them, best seats ever. Sometimes I wish I would have bought 2 more for the twins so that my oldest could still be in one. I know people who have used them up to age 6-10. Worth every cent. They stay so nice, always good resale value too. Can't go wrong!
