tri-scooter 2x front/back wheels?

I'm considering buying a scooter for my 3.5yr old girl. Anybody knows the difference with the 2 wheels in the front and the 2 wheels in the back? i remember reading somewhere that if the 2 wheels are in the front, it's easier to balance?

Any experience to share?
