My 3 months old baby's skin is very dry and the scales are peeling off I have been using Johnson's olive cream but its not working so could anyone suggest me a moisturiser other than Johnson which is good for my 3months old skin.

Do you wash your baby's skin with anything? Be wary of using any products that contain harsh chemicals as this could be a contributing factor. If you prefer to use something gentle to wash baby then maybe try cetaphil or one of the Mustela dermo-pediatrics range (both available at Watsons)?

I would personally stay away from the Johnson's products and stick with something a little more natural. You could even try a tiny amount of an organic oil like grapeseed or even olive (but you may find that a little smelly).

I would use Aqueous cream after each changing and then slather it all over your baby after bath. when you bathe your baby put in couple of cap fulls of Oilatum which is safe for infant bath - do not use soap etc.... Oilatum is often used for babies who have ezcema. They also have a cream, so if aqueous doesn't work, try that. I find the Mustela line had a too strong of a frangrance for my baby . ..

Oilatum has a bath oil that is good to put in the bath. Also, Chinese people have this age -old remedy where they boil slab sugar (brown slabs of sugar can be bought at any supermarket - First Choice brand, no frills brand or Taikoo brand). Melt it in a pot of water and then use the water to pour over your baby during bath time. My baby had really dry skin too and after starting the sugar water bath, it has really improved! We also use the Cetaphil intensive moisturizer for her.
