It's not a pity you're not travelling to Penang on Monday (14th) or we could sit together. I'll be travelling alone with a soon-to-be 9 month old baby and a soon-to-be 32 month old toddler and I'm totally dreading it. My husband already has a gift ready to be given to the toddler just before he boards the plane so we're hoping he'll be engrossed in it for the 3 1/2 hour flight. Make sure you've got stuff like bib, bowl, spoon, wet wipes, enough nappies, snacks, water/drinks, spare clothing incase he gets what he's wearing dirty, books, toys. I think a new toy/book will help as well. GOOD LUCK to both of us!
Oh, I forgot. Normally the airlines will provide baby food. I'm not sure if you can ask for a child meal for him since he's not yet two and is I guess travelling on an infant ticket. If you can afford it, you might want to buy him a seat as well, or if the flight is not full, check in early and ask them to allocate an empty seat next to you.
Thank you, Elmo. I'm travelling Air Asia departing from Macau, and they will not allocate seats because is budgeted airlines (so no meals), anyway, I hope we will survive. Thanks for your tips.
new colourful books, stickers, small toys, camera, blanket, pillow, milk, were what we bought onto the plane. play hard with baby before getting onto the plane, drink milk when getting off, let baby look at the books, then just let baby sleep
