Yes, we understand that and that is why we called the consulate - to get clarification regarding exactly what was and was not permitted. The US, for example, has very specific rules regarding payment of the US minimum wage or above, working hours, insurance, etc. while she is in the US with us and we want to make sure that we follow all the rules if she travels with us to Indonesia. We have booked her her own room in the resort and it will primarily be a vacation for her - will only have her watch our baby a few hours some nights while we are at dinner- no cooking, cleaning or any other work. Spoke with someone else at their consulate who seemed to understand our query and they said it was fine.
