Travel to Bali with Helper?

Has anyone traveled to Bali with their helper (holding a Philippines passport)? We're taking our helper on holiday for the first time and I didn't know if I would need to procure any kind of special visa/travel document --
or can someone with a Philippines passport travel from HK to Indonesia and back? Sorry if this is somewhat of a stupid question but these things are new to me :) (I know you can't just fly to the US, for example, but assuming a place like Bali is different...) Thank You!!!

yep, we were in bali with our helper this past november. philippine passport holders do NOT need a visa, but we did as americans. you can get the visa right there - no need to get it in advance as it's around $10-$15 USD.

Thanks so much...I read that with a Philippines passport you can travel visa-free to all ASEAN countries (this includes Indonesia) but it's reassuring to hear from an actual person that I'm all set and don't need anything special...It's going to be nice to have a babysitter on vacation :)

Oh, I've actually been to Bali before (just not with kids or helpers) and the visa-on-arrival thing is quite easy...you basically follow the crowd through the airport and just wait in line to pay :)

Awesome. I used to prepare for Visa ahead of the trip, looks like don't have to bother. Thanks guys!
