travel insurance for pregnant women

Hi there,

We will be travelling this summer when I will be 26 to 30 weeks pregnant. I have been looking into getting travel insurance and found out that all HK insurers exclude pregnancy from their policies. In Europe though most of them cover pregnancy upto the last 2 months or so. Has anyone had any luck finding a policy that does cover pregnancy?

I took out a travel insurance policy using Bluecross in December. They cover travel for up to 30 or 32 weeks of pregnancy. It was the only company I could find that did that. It was only a little bit more expensive than normal non-pregnancy cover. You can find out more at www.bluecross.com.hk Hope that helps.
