Yeah I found Wisekids to be expensive. At that age we got best value out of cheap stuff like:
- basic soft rattle from H&M
- squeaky dog toy from Citysuper log-on
- a handpuppet thing from Toys r Us
- those mini stuffed pandas from Helping Hand charity campaign
- a couple of black & white board books from Amazon
We also got stuff that cost a bit more but still reasonably priced, and are still getting lots of use out of them:
- one of those spiral toy that wraps around the crib (Combi brand, from Wing On or Citysuper)
- Winnie the Pooh kick and play piano at ToysRUs
- activity gym from Toys R Us (this one we spent a bit more on because it can be used until 1+)
