I'm looking for a playgroup class for my 1 year old daughter. I've tried classes at MyGym, Gymbaroo and Kindyroo already. My daughter loved MyGym however she is on a long waiting list and I was not too impressed with the other 2 places. Someone recommended Tots & Toddlers - would love to hear comments about it and any other suggestions for other places to try out.

My 2-year-old daughter joined there for 2 months. She has fun there. You may request for two trial classes through its web site.
 
Thanks - tried the site and got an electronic voucher for 2 trial classes. It told me to book online which I did but I never got a reply. Then I tried to call and got voicemail so I left a message and still no reply. Not very impressed at the moment...
 
please give them another chance.

as of last week, i was the teacher there. i also answered all of the emails/telephone calls.

however, due to serious health problems and a high risk pregnancy, i had to quit working there with virtually no notice. they are trying to pick up the pieces.

It really is worth it. Try emailing them. If you leave a voice message, they don't always get them.

The YWCA on Garden Road run Gym for Tots and Socatots which are both great courses. Log on to their website for a full list of what they are running.
 
My 2-yr old boy Miguel goes at Tots and Toddlers twice a week and he really had fun... We tried first the trial class and since my little boy enjoys it, I booked him already for 10 classes :wink:
When my son got sicked 2wks ago, he would always tell me, "Mommy let's go to playground"... he called it playground, hahahaha...

i'm glad that miguel is enjoying it so much!
I'm sorry to say that I won't be going back, I don't think that my health will permit it.

I miss the kids so much, though!
