Toddler taking very long to sleep during nap time

She's now 20 months and since recently she's been going down really easily for about 1.5 - 2 hrs. The past few days she's taken an hour or so just to fall asleep. She'll be talking and singing in her crib and sometimes crying (tho not too much). I just don't know if she's just outgrowing her naps as she eventually falls asleep. Or if it is just that she needs to be put down later in the day. I put he down at 12:30pm as she normally wakes up at 7:30am. At night I put her down at around 7:30pm but she takes about 30-45 mins to fall asleep. Am I putting her to bed too early perhaps?

I would try putting her down for her nap a little later. we used to put our now 2yr old son down for naps right after lunch at 12 or 1230pm but slowly switched to 1 or 130pm because he just wasn't tired at 12 anymore. He still goes to bed at 730 every night, but just has his nap later on in the day.
