Toddler Haircut

HI,

I have done a search and read all previous forums on where to get haircuts for toddlers but the info all seems outdated. Magic Mirror is no longer in Toys r Us and the number for the Causeway Bay branch just rings. BQ Club in New World Centre has long since closed down to.

So please HELP. My boy is 2 years and 9 months old. We usually cut his hair ourselves but lately he refuses. He seems to be scared, or pretends to be scared, of the clippers. I can't cut using scissors so I am looking for a kiddies salon to help out. He is still relatively hyper so somewhere that has novel chairs and a tv would be great.

Thanks

Adsha, I took my son to the hairdresser at the GC. Dickie, I think, is the name of the guy who did it. His dad distracted him while he got the cut.

Well, my son also refused to cut his hair and we could only cut his hair when he's sleeping. But recently, my helper tried putting him in his bath and let him play with his bathing toys and water, and surprisingly my helper could cut his hair all by herself when my hubby and I went out! But I guess this only works on kids that really like water.

92375417 Faria somebody posted on one of the threads earlier that they come and give your kid a haircut

You could try Catherine at Calina at Bank of America Tower 25262474. Suggest you take books/toys to distract or best of all, a portable DVD player with his fav DVD!!

Johnny formerly of the Magic Mirror in Causeway Bay is great with toddlers. He now only does home visits and brings a suitcase of toys. You can reach him on 9108-7428.
