hello everybody, how knows a good place to get a haircut for my 2 year old? she doesn't like to sit still for long  (Hong Kong Island please)

KMM,

Have a read through the similar threads below. There's Magic Mirror in Causeway Bay, but it costs $300+. We go to a local place in our area. Cost is $60 and they let us bring our own DVDs for D to watch.

really like Sophia at Hair Studio in Stanley Plaza. My son refuses to sit still (16 months) but somehow she always manages to distract him with hairbrushes, books etc. Costs 80-90 HK$. I heard there is a good place near Pacific Coffee which is half the price and very good too.

We recently took our daughter for her first haircut (she's 3.5) to a local place in Aberdeen. I think it was about $60. They were very quick, had a special chair and a mickey mouse cover for her to wear. There wasn't any place to watch dvd's or anything like that, but it worked for us.

My hairstylist cuts it for her and they usually place a dvd player in front of her and the cartoons will keep her occupied.

Just wanted to say thank you for the good recommendation regarding Hair Studio at Stanley Plaza, we had a fantastic experience. .. it was honestly done within 5 minutes and for HK $88 I think fully worth the hassle saved of trying to do it ourselves! We did not need an appointment it was very low key and they did provide heaps of lovely books as distractions:yeah2
