how many of you have tried giving wheat toast to baby? My daughter is almost 11 months old and today, she had 2 toast fingers - adn she loves them! Last month I tried- and she choked on it. Since she ate them fine- it should be ok right?
mine will only eat the crusts of our bread or plain bread, not toasted.
whenever we try to give himsome just for him, he touches it and then says a firm, "NO"...picky eater now at 23 months. when he was 11 months though, he ate anything and everything...
just wondering, what other finger foods are less messy especially during teething stages? i'm only giving my 10 month old gerber teething rusks and he's starting to get bored with them. i've also tried rice cakes but they crumble too easily. i'll try the toast fingers to see how he likes it.
My LO loves raisins - I think I started around 9/10 months. I was initially worried that they may be a choking hazard but they're fine. She devours a whole box in one go, no problem. No mess.
you can also buy the frozen mixed vegetables. then heat some up in the microwave. they are bite size already and you are serving very healthy food (carrots, peas and sweet corn). not only that, they are also on the softer side so even babies with few teeth can gum them to death!
