Things to do over Easter?

Hi all! I have reasonably well behaved 16 month old babies and was thinking of going somewhere to have an Easter lunch with them. Any suggestions?

Have you been to the new Watermark restaurant at Star Ferry? There's an Easter buffet on Sunday. Cost is $300 adults and under 3s are free. Heard its really nice but haven't been yet.

My dilemma is keeping D occupied over the holidays. Has anyone been Strawberry picking in Fanling yet?
 
That sounds interesting. I'll contact Watermark restaurant and see if they have high chairs and any specials over Easter.

Never done strawberry picking at Fanling. Would love to go though! Do you have the details?

I remembered when I was younger my dad took us to strawberry farms when we were living in Sydney (almost every summer!) I always had a fabulous time.

It'd be a great thing to do with my little boy. He loves strawberry and would get a great kick out of picking them of the bush!

I had a wonderful time when I studied in Toronto and went for strawberry picking over the weekend. It's wonderful for kids for sure.

i've been to the tai tong lychee farm with ESF. it's really nice. besides strawberry picking, there is ostrich to see, bicycles to ride, and a bat cave (no bat there). but it could be crowded.

Strawberry picking sounds great! Love the taste of freshly picked strawberries. My son (almost 3) would really enjoy it I think. I think my 15 month old daughter would also enjoy the eating part.

Can anyone translate the address and cost details from the website?! Or any ideas on how long it waould take to get there on the MTR from Tsim Sha Tsui? Hope to see you there.

i have been there.

I recently visited there with my daughter, it was a field trip from her playgroups.
THe entrance fee was 20dollars.
There's a stable, so you can see horses and touch them even give them carrots.
There's a pony ride as well, but I think it's dangerous for toddlers.
Each activity costs about 20~50 dollars.
But at the entrance, if you buy the tickets, you can do certain things , so it's much cheaper than paying individually.But activities are limited if you buy the tickets.
The ticket costs 40 dollars, and you can do 3 things.
But you have to pay separately for some activities that includes strawberry picking
You pay to get the basket ( I think it was 30~40 dollars, can't remeber exactly sorry) and then you can pick up strawberries as much as you like, after picking you measure the weight and pay for that amount. So you can enjoy strawberries at home.
They say it's organic. it really tasted good.
I have enclosed some pictures taken. Have a look. I hope everyone enjoys. It was really nice to take kids out.

I had a trouble finding the place, so I got lost on the way. I thought it was almost there, but you have to go inside much further. Beaware of that.

Leeah's Mom - how long do you estimate a visit to the farm would last - inclusive of the strawberry picking and feeding the horses? just wondering whether it would be too much hassle to bring my little one.
 
Wow this strawberry picking etc. sounds awesome. Thanks for the idea! Will have to wait til my girls are older and are awake for long enough to do this hahahahhaha

Any other ideas for what to do at Easter? Thanks!
