We are spending a couple of days in Oxford with family during July. We've done Blenheim Palace, so can anyone suggest other things to do with a 6 yr old and 13 month old?
Grew up in Oxford so I can answer your question - you want to visit the Cotswold Wildlife Park in Burford. Really lovely place that can easily take the whole day up if you so wish. Head on the A40 out of Oxford (towards the Witney) and keep on going till you get to Burford. At the roundabout in Burford turn left until you see the signpost - the wildlife park is really well signposted so is very easy to find.
There is also the Pitt River Museum which Lily might find quite interesting - lots of weird and wonderful things that were bought back from Pitt's travels (shrunken heads which might be a bit much for a 6 year old though!).
