Taking helper to Singapore

We may be moving to Singapore in July and would like to take our helper with us. We are quite clueless about the entire process. How does one go about it? Can I do it from HK? My work permit will take around 4 weeks to process. I guess I will have to wait till that is done before I can put in her papers. How long will it take for her visa to come through? If anyone has a good agency to recommend that would be a very helpful.

Also note that the minimum wage requirement is lower in Singapore as compare to that in HK. But in Singapore the gov levy is much more than what you are paying here in HK. At the end of the day, the total cost of hiring FDH is almost the same in this 2 countries.
