Taking Helper on Vacation... best places to go? easiest visas, etc.

We are thinking of taking our helper on vacation with us, but have never done this before. What countries (if any) can my philippine helper accompany us to without a visa, or with an easily obtained visa? I know people do it, I just don't know the details.

Looking for a nice beachy getaway in a few months time.

We went for a holiday with 10 month old and helper to Phuket a few months ago. Direct flight, no visa required, very easy. We stayed at the jw Marriott vacation club and it is one of the child friendliest places I've been to. You basically get a 2 bedroom apartment for us$250 or so per night if i remember correctly, with a fully equipped kitchen, a high chair in the apt. You get to use all of jw marriots facilities and there are family and kids activities everyday. We loved it, only thing is it's up north in Mai khao which is far away from all the action. If you want to eat at outside restaurants all the time, you might feel a little trapped.

There are some beautiful beaches in the Philippines e.g. Bohol, Boracay, Cebu.

There's a list of the places you can travel without a visa on a Philippines passport in the link above. Basically southeast asia, so other than Thailand as mentioned, popular family destinations like Singapore and Bali, are convenient to travel to.

Our helper has been to Thailand, Indonesia and Singapore with us w/out a visa.
