tailbone pain after delivery

I had the same problem and went to see an osteopath (finally, after 1 year !). It happens that the tailbone deviates during the birth, and it's very easy and not painful at all to but it back to normal... Just have a check that nothing else moved in the same time !

It happened to me since early pregnancy last time. I found sitting cross legged was the only thing that helped. It did eventually go away though I can't recall exactly when.

Catan, I just went to see an ostheo for a muscle problem in my legs, and during the session, she pressed my tailbone just to check it was at the right place. I knew it was hurting before, but just got used to it ! I told her and she just gently pushed it back, I didn't feel anything ! (it's an external move, no worries ;)).

I didn't have back pain during pregnancy. So this pain had to have happened from the delivery. It's been 2 weeks and hasn't gotten any better...
