Taikoo or Ap Lei Chau for meeting new friends

I'm a Singaporean mom with 2 toddlers and we've been living in the US for the past 6 years. We're still looking for an apartment but are now in Taikoo Shing area.
Since I can't speak Cantonese, I was wondering whether Ap Lei Chau or Taikoo would be better to get to know other moms and kids. My 3.5 year old boy and 2 year old girl only speak English and a little Putonghua.

Hi All,

I live in Tai Koo Shing too, we can set up gatherings for our kids. I have a 11 months-old. I moved back to Hong Kong 2 years old from the States.
