Hello everybody!

I would like to share my experiences with other parents who have a baby with tachycardia.
Are there any others out there?

It would also be helpful if anybody knows a doctor or a hospital who/which is specialised in helping tachycardia babies.

Babies have fast heart rates (up to 150/min when born, slowing down to around 90/min at around 4 yoa). So don't worry. Most of such tachys are reactive so look for any diseases in him. The Grantham Hospital near Ocean Park is a good government hospital and really is the only one dedicated to childhood heart diseases. Dr Maurice Leung Ping or Dr Roxy Lo are two well known private specialists that may help you. They are from Grantham Hospital, of course.

Sorry, I have not been on this site for a very, very long time! :)

We have not had the idea of SVT by ourself, its been dicovered during birth (over 300), and she is on medication since her birth.

The Grantham Hospital was very helpful as well as the Adventist.

Many cases of SVT during her first six months,.. and none the last 5 :))) We are very happy about that as we heard that most babies will lose this form of tachycardia in their first year.

Will have a look on this site more often now;)
