Hi girls, again! Wish you all the best!
I wrote an email to my doctor yesterday asking what to do because at the end of this week or next week I wait my period so I will be ready for FET. The doctor said that on the first day of my period to call the Sanatorium to make an appointment for the Day 12 of my period. Is that right MayC? It was the same for you?
A big kiss girls, I read you with joy, so many wonderful news!!!!

Thank you MayC. I interrupted for 2 weeks now the Materna. I took it for 1 month ( I think) and after a while it was too much and the body showed me with some sort of allergy. But now I start again. Could you tell me for how long I can take the vitamins (continue period and how many days break). It's no use to ask my doctor 'cause last time she said that this is not important so I went to pharmacy, bought and take them as you suggested.

Hi all,

Today is my D12, and I went to see the doctor this afternoon. He said my lining looked very good and with my last period being very heavy and lasted 3 days, it looks like my body is back to normal already. He also said I should ovulate within the next couple of days and can start my fet in my next cycle. However, like I mentioned before, I will be going away next month, so I won't be able to do it until July.
MayC, what was your beta level and when is your next appointment again? Your result gives us hope that we will all get there one day!
Adrianna, good luck in your fet too, I should be able to do mine in July, keep us posted on your news!

Good luck to the rest!

MayC, I hope I can also strike on my next try, like you! I am planning on putting 3 frozen embryos in, like last time. I would also be terrified if all 3 take, but given my age and all circumstances, I would rather take this risk and hope that at least one will take! My husband and I have decided this would be our last try, as he wants to draw a line to when we have to stop. But reading your past post, I remember your doctor once said something like these frozen embryos are all bonus, and should at least get a chance.

Do post and tell us how you girls are all doing.

MayC - Please try not to stress, although I know it's easier said than done. I think I posted before about betas. A very high beta does not necessarily mean multiples. I have a singleton even though my beta was way above average even for triplets! I was checking the Betabase site on a daily basis in disbelief at how high the beta was. I was so stressed until the ultrasound (around 28 DPO) and then so relieved. Wish I hadn't got myself so worked up about it in restrospect!

MayC, tks, my appt with the embroyologist went ok, didn't think it was that informative, same old stuff, talk with your husband & decide yourself....so, I am still on for my HSG in a couple days, then we will know more.
Yes, try not to stress out too much about the twins thing, and yes, eat healthy & think healthy! ^_^ this is such an exciting time after all the stuff you've been through, so enjoy ur 9 months!
Adrianna, I just bought a bottle of Materna at Mannings this morning cuz I forgot mine in China (where I live). i guess it has the folic acid & other vitamins too, i have been taking pre-natels for sooooo long now, and I too skipped many times when I get frustrated. stay positive though, we will all get there someday!
Kazbo, How are you doing these days?

Hi girls! just wanted to share some great news with y'all....i did my HSG yesterday, and it turned out that both my tubes are perfectly fine!!! yay! starting my shots today for my "1st" IUI....sooo excited.
hope everyone is having a good day & have a great weekend!

MayC, I cannot describe how happy I am for you. When I read your positive result I almost cried. Really, it is such wonderful news, especially because of your emotional struggle along the way. All very exciting now! I only just got back and I didn't have internet access for the last week of my holiday so just read this now. By the way, my beta was very high as well - they thought it might be twins but it wasn't, just one very very strong one!

I am fine. Last Saturday I passed 3 months so all is going well it seems. Never had any morning sickness - been lucky - just lots of fatigue. Have my first big scan/doctor appointment in a couple of weeks.

So happy for you x

Congratulations Liquorice! All the best!
You too MayC! How do you feel?
As for me, I still wait my AF, so no news for the moment...

MayC - you sound so happy. It's great and gives us all hope we can achieve the same thing.

Liquorice - well done for getting past 3 months. Hopefully the rest will be plain sailing :-)

Hi SS - I am fine. Just waiting to hear when we will finally return to the UK and in the meantime trying to conceive naturally which I realise with our statistics is a waste of time but I have to do something in the meantime. Our first IVF cycle won't be till the winter now... Annoying.

Hi girls! I hope everything's ok. A big hug to all of you!
I am very preoccupied because my period didn't come yet (more than 33 days) but after IVF is not so regular anymore. Last month came 5 days later. My bad feeling is not about this, anyway, it's that yesterday I noticed the breast (left one) very painful and the skin around red. My friend, a chinese doctor, said that could be the side effect of the treatment ans some sort of small tube inside the breast could be blocked (you can feel it just by touching). I really hope to be some sort of complication caused by still missing the period! I really want so desperately to be this and no other things. I want this month to have my baby-embryos back. If I have some complications the FET would not be possible....
Someone of you had a similar experience?

Hi Adrianna, have you been to the doctor about this? Other than your friend...? It probably is as your friend said but if you get it verified then it will give you peace of mind at least, instead of worrying about it. Let us know what happens and try not to worry too much x

Hi girls. Thank you for your support and comfort!
Yesterday my period finally came. So, today I feel a little bit better, my left breast still sour a little bit but not so swollen. I put some natural ointment and warm things. I just don't feel to go here to the doctor (in China), sometimes they suppose the things and I don't want to take some medicine before my FET. Anyway on 12-th of June I have the appointment with my doctor in HK Sanatorium and I will let her know about this problem. If these days doesn't pass (I hope will pass!) I'll see.
One question for you girls : when they do the FET procedure they thaw the embryos same day of the implant or before?
I want to know just in case my problem doesn't pass and at the first appointment we decide not to do FET this time. I hope not, but I don't want to risk my two emrbyos...

It's me again!
Don't bother for me girls. I checked on a website and they say that the embryos will be thawed the day before the FET procedure.
So, I have my answer and it's ok. Hope they will survive ( I have only two), hope I will not have problems anymore, hope ...hope.
A big hug to all of you..Liquorice, MayC we've done some part of this journey together and I am so happy for you! I hope you will bring luck to the rest of us...
hkiegal good luck to you too!

Adrianna, glad your AF finally came, it must be a relief since you are waiting to do your FET soon. I am doing my 1st IUI tomorrow with Dr Lo, and I got the trigger shot this morning. I have been feeling wicked tired & sleepy all day from those FSH shots, got total of 3 injections, but still have only 1 good sized egg. I hope your swelling will go down soon, I really understand why you don't want to go to the doctors in China. I too had spent too much time with the doctors there, and they misled me in so many different ways, although I thought I was smart to have switched to 4 different doctors there. Ended up wasting a whole year & they always made me feel so negative....
anyways, I am so happy to be seeing someone professional & competent finally, and I am feeling sooo much better.
If you don't mind me asking, which part of China do you live in? I am near Xiamen, Fujian, its about one hour flight from there to Hong Kong.
Kazbo, glad you are well, try to take this time to relax & do the things that you love to do & eat the stuff that you love to eat. and while trying naturally may not give you a very high chance of conceiving, just try not to think that you are actually "trying" & go with the flow....if you know what i mean...^_^
Hope everyone is well & stay dry!

Hi splitting snow and good luck of all my heart! I live in Guangzhou, 2 hours by train to Hong-Kong. Convenient but nevertheless I prefer stay in Hk when I do my procedure, so book the hotel etc etc...another costs! But I don't want to miss the ovulation and, reading the experieces of other girls and especially MayC (so kind of her to write all the details for us!) if I am not sure about something, being there, I can go to Sanatorim directly and quickly.
By the way, MayC, one question: at the first FET appointment, DAY 12, you have an ultrasound and blood test? I made the appointment for the day 12 and I ask them if it is necessary, before going to the doctor, to have a blood test (I usually do like this because the lab is separate so, for the appointment I can have ready the results of the blood test, too). The nurse said she doesn't know, she will call me to say it. But no call 'till now. I don't know if calling back or not...
a big hug to all of you.....

Hi Adriana, yes Guangzhou is very close to HK, nonetheless, the hotel expenses can add up, lucky for me, i have family here i can stay with. hopefully everything will go well and you will have your FET soon and get a BFP!!!
MayC, I just had my IUI yesterday at Proivfic with Dr Lo, the procedure was painless & easy, only thing uncomfortable was holding a full bladder while waiting for my turn. my hubby did well on his part with his swimmers, so just hope that my one egg will get fertilized this time. the IUI experience this time was soooo different from when i had it done in China. they didn't use the ultrasound while injecting the sperm, and i had bad cramps right after the insemination....this time was painless & i actually got to see the sperm going in on the screen, it was pretty cool....^_^
We are flying back this afternoon, and officially starting the 2ww, im not too anxious yet, but am sure will start as the day get closer. I am gonna start meditating in the morning to stay relaxed, and positive.
best wishes to all of you, ladies!
