Seriously re; myself I can't believe I am taking progesterone which is the medication to make your boobs sore and give you all the pregnancy symptoms even if you are not pregnant, well I feel absolutely NOTHING! Grrrrrr
 
brightstar - stay positive - easier said than done i know!
when I fell pregnant with my son i didn't feel any symptoms at all until i started to get morning sickness at about 6 or 7 weeks. I didn't ever get sore boobs throughout the whole pregnancy. we are all different and every pregnancy is different. Like a few people on here, I am trying to conceive baby #2 and its been about 12 months now... I'm in the dreaded 2ww as well. 2 DPO..... and counting :smile:

Well i checked Fertility Friend and I am DP010 and have PMS cramps today :(
 
if you guys are interested in the davids ovulation strip, i can get them easily right next door to my house...as i am in china. they are probably the best quality you can get here.i am in hong kong quite often...once a week recently. although i just want to say one thing about these strips...it seems that everytime i pee on them...at anytime it always shows 2 lines (one always very faint). i dont know if my eyes are tricking me or if i am peeing on it wrong... i've tried a few different types of brands including the ones from america. my period just came yesterday...so disappointmented.

Nanzbier - So sorry. Did you try taking the cough syrup this month?
I took it for 3 days and my CM was drier wasn't sure when I was ovulating. i found the store selling the David's strips here. Am a bit confused as the instructions are in English. There's an image with 4 sticks with different results. Any idea which is the one we need? They all have 2 lines.
 
I'm not too sure cuz i dont have a box in front of me. My guess is it may be the level of how close you are to ovulating? I didn't try the cough syrup. I will probably try the chinese meds....how I got pregnant the first time around. I have a question... sorry if its too much detail...but is it normal to spot for an entire week and then have a big flow for 2 days? IT's like a nine day period although it relaly is just 2 days. Do most people spot for this long? IT's difficult to predict ovulation ...day of spotting or day of big flow. Any suggestions?
 
MayC and TTC#2, I really hope AF doesn't turn up for you.

I saw this documentary on Nat Geo last nigh about baby developmentm from the eggie stage to being born, what an absolutely incredible journey. I mean not that I didn't realise it but when you hear the little jellybean has at first a stomach of a size of a rice grain, and how all the organs evolve one by one into a fully operating human beingm it really is such a miracle.

Nanzbier, maybe your spotting could be a sign of a low progesterone, if it's 5 days prior to your AF then maybe it's something worth mentioning to your GYN / FS. It might fluctuate though so maybe it's just something happening this month?

MayC...your husband can also take chinese meds. Sorry it didn't happen for you this month!!! I'm also turning to chinese meds.
 
Preconception symptoms

:mad:My period is not here, I had my D&C a month ago. Anyone got any experience here? Could I be pregnant, but I feel so bloated? Sigh...
 
I got my period this morning too. *sign* Also suspected it was coming as I had PMS symptoms all week.

Josoo - How long since you did the wild BD with hubby? Got my fingers crossed for you.
 
josoo, my AF came within 5 weeks after D&C. REad somewhere that it's normal for AF to be late after D&C as the body needs time for the hCG level to zerorise (or reduce to a very minimal level) before the the AF "clockwork" begins.

just test a week later, if period still not here. anyway, just tell yourself. 'i am not pregnant, i am not pregnant'.. hope it helps to avoid disappointment, in case.

i try not to think about symptoms of pregnancy, concentrate in dancing and my job instead.

Will wait another week...sigh. I can't be pregnant though is what i'm telling myself!! I need at least one period first...sigh. This waiting stinks.
 
Hiya and really sorry to hear about the arrivals of AFs

Well, I will be joining the club soon too. Couldn't resist and did a test this am - of course it was a BFN, not sure what I was expecting as I never bloody get anything else but a :BFN

MayC, I am a bit like you, I don't have any obvious problem, even though the doc did so many tests, hubby is fine too, and yet it's just not happeneing so far. I have told myself that I might have lower progesterone levels as my LP is normally 13 days and not 14 (!) Let us know how it goes with hubby, good luck with it.

Anyway I feel quite positive, next month I won't be put on clomid as it made my lining really thin and I only had one big follicle which is the same as in a non-stimulated cycle.

I am also going away for a week on Friday which I am really looking forward to, not the fact that I will have to take AF with me though :eyesroll:

Lets hope for the next a lot more successful cycle! x

i got my AF last Tuesday. Frustrated that I am not pregnant, but happy at the same time because my period is now regular. I have been taking Metformin for a month now and it did not just help me lose weight (together with a very strict no carb diet), but my period is now on a 30 day cycle. So quite happy that my problem is being addressed. Hopefully, I will get lucky in the next cycles.

I try not to think about it and just enjoy the "losing weight" part which helps me feel sexier ;-):haha:
 
Mickey + MayC - we all got our periods on the same day this month. Do you think are cycles are syncing up? You hear of women who live/work together who's cycles eventually sync up. Wonder if it can happen on a message board too..:haha:
 
I just had ET first week of September and i feel Sore boobs, tired, slight abdominal cramps after a week, i did the first home PT 7 days after but was neg. then did it again after 2 days and it was positive.
 
MayC - can you go to another clinic to do the sperm test? My hubby just went to one that we were referred to by Dr. Lo, and it was over and done with in like half an hour.. and not in a loo, but a really comfortable place with lots of magazines/videos in case he needs the "inspiration" ;-)
