Support Group for Trying to Conceive

Hi,

My name is Stefanie. I have been TTC for a while.

I am wondering if anyone interested in having a support group in Hong Kong for anyone who is going through infertility issues.

We would meetup to discuss any issues in relation to infertility and to provide emotional support to each other or/and to share experiences.

Have you gotten pregnant yet? If not, I would love some TTC support. I've been trying for about a year and the nerves are starting to get to me. Would love someone other than my husband to talk to.

My child is 8-yo and we have been praying for a second one but no luck so far. If I am "qualify" to join the group I will be more than happy to share and support like any bestis would

Wondering if this group has got off the ground? I've just had my first IVF and it was a BFN. Pretty devastated and feeling alone and lost at the moment. Doesn't help that sister in law has just had her first (last week) and several of my friends are pregnant.

Bit about me - We have been trying for around 8 months now. I am 29 and husband is 32. A lot of my friends have babies and are pregnant too. It sucks but at the same time we try to remain positive believing our time will come... We have been actively tracking my cycles using OPKs and tempting... nothing so far. I am currently in my two week wait.

what about everyone else?

We have been TTC for almost a year and just received bad news. We will certainly go through IVF process and it is a bit of a choke for me. I really feel on my own especially seeing all my friends having babies so easily...

I can totally understand how you are feeling and what your going through. Please stay positive, wonderful things will happen to you. If you need help, just take your first step and get some professional advice. I too TTC for over 3 years and am now pregnant after seeking professional help.

Hi All,

I am interested in joining the group as well. My husband and I have been trying for years and we are still not giving up trying. It's a tough journey and hopefully one day we can all make it through! Would love to get and provide emotional support here.

Anyone interested in meeting up once a week to share our experiences/doing exercise together? I live in HK Island and normally hike 1/hr per day. I just start doing exercise regularly.

Oh my goodness ladies! I didn't know people had responded to this. I am STILL trying to conceive 8 months after writing my first response and am REALLY needing some support. Is anyone else still interested?

I see this is a rather old thread and I wonder if the group has started as I'd love to join the group. I'm relatively new in HK, looking to explore IVF in HK and would appreciate some advice/support from one another.

Hi Ailing,

Amazingly enough, I fell pregnant in beginning of October after two years of trying. It was the first month we quit trying, so I think stress was a big reason why it wasn't happening. I really understand what you're going through and if you'd like some advice with the IVF route, let me know as we had looked into it just in case we needed to go that way. Just send me a PM with questions if you have any.
