Summer mums and bubs meetings.

Thanks Snagito. We shall meet instead as you suggested instead. My Henrik is teething and is being such a sookielala on top of the screaming monkey business going on.

Snagito... u have asked me what a sookielala is...I cant explain sookielala... Aussiemum... can you help? It is an Aussie term for someone who is always whiny and whinging... like a crybaby? It comes from the term sook. So if Henrik is always crying or whining ... sometimes, I would say "Henrik... quit being such a sook." or "Ooo... someone is being a sookielala today."

Thank you -- SOOKIELALA what a great word, I can see myself using it quite a bit! See you Tuesday then Spockey -- hope Henrik's teeth come thru soonest :flower:

hi 8:30 is a little too early for my son, nicholas, but i will try to get him to bed a little earlier the night before so hopefully we will see you there!

mom & bubs

Hi all mom.....

please count me in and my 28 month old boy......
how about botanical garden in central????

Bundaku, they are meeting at the Zoo this week.
Girls, my guest from Sg wants me to go to Macau for a day trip for food??? So, I won't be able to go to the zoo (again!).
I'm beginning to wonder if this summer hols really mine! I've got guests throughout summer!
Have fun!

Sorry you can't make it Spockey.. Hope everyone else is still coming..We will be at the Albany Road entrance between 8:30 - 8:45...My LO's the one with the wild hair so we're easy to recognise! :haha:

Well at least I know we had fun at the zoo. We waited at the playground from 8:30-9 and then gave up and went to see the monkeys on our own. What happened to everyone?

Hi! I don't know how we could have missed you at the zoo. We were at the Albany Road entrance (near the jaguar) at 8:30 which is just a stone's throw from the playground - we were actually at the playground around 8:15 just hanging out waiting and then went down to the entrance at 8:30 to see who might show up.. Gave up at 8:45 and then we went to see the monkeys too! Weren't they funny!! Shall we do it again next Tuesday if anyone's up for it? I think the time of day is pretty good, what did you think mommy sara? Anyway I think safest would be to meet up at the playground as Albany Road entrance might be too confusing. Let me know if anyone's game and I will bring coffee too!

I'm meeting another mom at the playground on Friday morning if anyone wants to join. We'll meet at 8:30 at the playground on the corner of Caine and Seymour in Mid-Levels. Hope to see some of you there.

Umm..yes, had suggested the lovely zoo again but no one responded so I assumed that didn't work for anyone else. Hopefully someone else will suggest something fun..:yeah2

I hate to sound like a wimp but I don't want to be outside too much. The zoo is nice and the park too but is there anywhere fun that's inside? If not I can get some energy together and make it to either the zoo or the park, especially early in the morning. I feel like I'm always out in the heat and walking up the hill. And I'm from Florida so I'm supposed to be used to this! As always, I wish there was more for little kids in Hong Kong.

Wise kids at Cyberport has playroom . They charge i think 80 dollars where u can play for an hour

My girl interest is pet...so zoo is best place to go thougth..beach or park also like it. How about Kadoori Farm in Yuen Long is that too far?
