stress-free admission to kindergarten possible?

we just arrived in HK with our 23-month kid, not looking for top school for him. would it be easier to admit him to a local kindergarten?
or should we just admit him to Singapore international sch since we are Singaporeans, do we have priority? Any advice?
I am so stressed fearing the worst that he could not get into any school.

Well, the admission for SIS is next year for your kid. I mean you need to apply next year for 2015-16 in take. Meanwhile,you can just enroll your kid to some local kindy or those international kindy that focus more on bilingual program ie English and Mandarin. That will be fine. BTW I'm also a Sinaporean.
