Hi
I'm just reading the employment ordinance on maternity leave. I know we are entitled to 10 weeks leave which would generally start 2 to 4 weeks before EDD or expected date of confinement as referred to locally.
but there was another paragraph stating that "if confinement occurs later than the expected date of confinement, a further period equal to the number of days from the day after the expected date of confinement to the actual date of confinement".

Does this mean that if we start maternity leave 2 weeks before EDD and the baby actually arrives 1 week late, do we get an extra week of maternity leave (so becomes 11 weeks?
Thanks
