Speech Therapy for $400?

Hello

This is a long shot but heck posting this question could make a real difference to my child's development and future so I guess I just need to be thick skinned.

It's a long story and I don't want to bore you all with the tiny details but basically single mom with 4yr old autistic son. Not receiving any financial support from child's father. Child's education setting charges the same as my monthly salary.

Desperately need speech therapy but everything I've looked at cost over $600/45mins. Or else waiting list for government funded therapy is at least 12mths.

Are there any speech therapist out there who will be willing to provide therapy sessions for $400? My child only speaks english.

Please please please help if you can.
 
Thanks for the PM Lolly. We already have a suitable special needs school placement that I'm happy with. Just that they don't offer any speech, physio or occupational therapy. At the moment my biggest concern is his articulation as he is building up the desire to communicate but as no one can understand him he finds it really fraustrating and I'm worried he'll loose what little confidence he has.
