Hi,
We lived in Sorrento before and now lived in Olympic. The main difference were the cost of living, convenience and the quality of neighborhood. The shopping complex at Kowloon Station is purpose-built for high-end shopping and there is only 1 supermarket in the Element. Or else, it takes you at least 20-30mins walk to the supermarket or wet markets in Jordan area. Inevitably, the property/rental price is much higher at Sorrento than those in Olympic as they're new. Club house is great but not very spacious for kids. Just a 1000sq feet playroom, and 1 outdoor swimming pool (a small one).
At Olympic, we lived at Island Harbourview. It's linked with the Olympian Plaza which we can shop everything we needed at competitive rate. And there is a good mix of the neighborhood, in our tower, we found England, Korean and I got a Italian who lived next to us. Island Harbourview has a huge club house (esp the kid playroom) and 3 swimming pools (2 outdoor & 1 indoor). Plus, there is a golf driving range/gym center just next to our complex. We loved to kill our summer time at the club house/home.
