Sleeping on her little tummy

Hi there,

My LO just turned 6 months and started rolling over from back to tummy a few weeks ago!

Lately she likes to roll over to her tummy while sleeping but does seem to know to move her face to the side while sleeping....

Just wondering if I should be worried that she is sleeping face down cause she doesn't know how to roll from tummy to back yet?

I wake uplike 5-8 times a night just to check on her and make sure her nose is not covered....

Anyone has any experience or suggestions?

Thanks!!!

K

Once they are strong enough to roll over, so long as there are no loose blankets/toys in the cot, she will be fine. Let her be.

My two sons sleeping against tummy since new born... We followed a book written by a Dr suggested to place four pieces of large towels under the bedding sheet to avoid suffocation.. And in fact babies can really learn turning their heads naturally very soon.. Many other benefits to count.... So no worries to let your baby sleep against tummy

She's been sleeping on her tummy for 2 weeks now, there is not stopping her!!! But lately she always wakes up crying in that position.... I think she gets "stuck" cause she doesn't know how to turn back yet :( I'm very sleepy....

My son loves sleeping on his tummy since learning how to roll. I let him be but keep regular checks on him. i do find he doesnt sleep as long during the night if i let him sleep on his tummy, so if i want him to settle down for a longer period of time i go back to wrapping him tight and sleeping him on his back.
