Hi! Is anyone due in early September? It seems there are already due date groups for July and August, but none yet for September....I just wanted to get the ball rolling and hopefully get to know a few other mothers.

Hi,
I'm due at the beginning of Sept as well and its my 1st pregnancy as well.
I've been having my mountain of tests through the public system here and am fortunate that I freelance as my work schedule is pretty flexible even though my deadlines don't seem to increase!
If you ever want to get together and have a coffee, send me a message, my studio space is in Sheung Wan and its all a bit daunting first time around.... I'm not quite sure what to expect?

Hi. I am due early September and would love to meet Moms due around the same time. It's my second baby and still lots of fun. Would love to meet up sometime.

Hi,

I am due in mid September. First timer too! Have only recently started telling people and would love to meet other mums-to-be.

Keen to meet up for a drink :)

Hi

I'm due in early September (also 1st pregnancy) and have just moved to HK....would be great to catch up :)

I created a group for Aug-Sep due dates, although not sure of the difference between forums and groups... I'm new at this.

Riley, Melb, MisB and SNP, want to catch up for a drink or lunch this week/weekend?

AndreaSB, it was great meeting you the other day, and I look forward to seeing you again soon!

Claude, welcome and congrats! If and when there is another meeting (it can be hard to get our schedules to match), I can let you know. Are you currently working or are you free on most days?

Hi ladies! I'm due late September with my second little boy. My son is 3 and is very excited to have a little brother. I'd love to meet up with you if you have another meeting!

Hi ladies. I haven't been on here for a while!!! Back on it though - regular basis this time. Can't wait to meet all of you.

Just to let you know there is a Brunch going on this weekend at Posto Pubblico by Baby Bloom - a new Mommy thing here. PM if you want further details. It's at 10 am.

You've probably heard a lot about Kathy Katzis and her magic baby massage
courses. Well, she has partnered with another baby expert to bring you even
more. Here is a great event for Saturday - lots of experts to speak to. Please
see details below.

Hello all,

Like most of you, I'm new to HK (arrived from Singapore in Sept2010) and am very excited about expecting our 1st baby in early Sept2011. Just found out at the 18 week scan, our baby is healthy and is a boy! Also navigating the public health system (for birth) and private care (pre natal/post natal care), which has been interesting and is keeping me busy!

Would love to join on your next meeting and meet some other baby mammas and share insights - I'm not working at the moment and living in Quarry Bay so pretty free to meet whenever on HK Island.

MisB - am going to try make the 11.15am Mothers Touch talk on Doula Services tomorrow, as this is something I am interested in using for early Labour. Might see you there!

Cheers
Kate

Hi All,
I'm due late September with my first and although I know I'm kind of late to the thread, I would love to meet up with other moms-to-be and exchange info!

Hi,

I am also due early Sept. Also first baby... Is anyone doing any prenatal pilates? I need to work full time and can't find any studio that offers prenatal evening classes. Any recommendation?

Thanks!

Hi all,
Another one to add to the growing brood of September mums to be! I'm due at the end of September and it's my first. Going through the public system with a private gynae so have dates here, there and everywhere! Would like to join if you have any meeting times, although I currently work full time.

Hello Ladies :-)

I am due with No. 2 sometime in sept 2nd week, no. 1 is a 20 month old boy. I am currently working full time, but just a week more as I am serving my notice period. After than I am going to Phuket for 5 days to relax, as the work + home tasks have completely drained me, so I just want to take a quick holiday before entering the third trimester. I can join in for the coffee/lunch dates next month onwards, when I would be in full time stay-at-home mode!

Hope to see you all soon..

Dou22, I have looked at several yoga/pilates places (in central/ sheung wan) and the latest class I have found is 12:45. Nobody seems to do them in the afternoon or evening. I have heard of people who attend regular yoga classes and just adapt it to pregnancy with the help of the instructor.

If anybody else finds a place please do let us know! I find myself struggling to make it to "early" classes.

Sounds like quite a few of us are busy with work or life this month, but let's try to arrange a group catch up in June?

Hi everyone - just wanted to introduce myself. I'm due September 17th with our first, a girl! We just moved here from Tokyo (we left right after the earthquake for the safety of the pregnancy) and I'm busy trying to find us an apartment and move our home, including two dogs over. My husband is still in Tokyo but will get here in a month. I'm originally from NYC and my husband is Irish.

I've been taking pre-natal yoga at Pure - both in Central and Causeway Bay and have a doula (Liz) from A Mother's Touch. We're going to try for a natural unmedicated birth so am just spending time preparing for that. My doula also recommended doing a pre-natal yoga 8-week course so that I learn some consistent breathing methods, as every yoga class seems to have a different teacher/technique, but I haven't found one that fits yet.

Would love to get together with the group - have been in touch with Andrea (thanks!) whenever there is a meetup. Is anyone taking the parentcraft classes at Matilda? I think we're going to take the July 18th course....

Hope all of your pregnancies are going well!

Hi everyone! How are you all feeling? Is everyone over the morning sickness now? I haven't vomited in over two weeks now!

Does anyone want to meet up one Saturday or Sunday? I notice there are a few working mums here, and I'll be working full time until July.
