Schools in sai kung

Hi we are moving to hong kong in feb and are looking at different areas to live. We have looked at discovery bay and the lovely school there but like the idea of being able to have a house in sai Kung.
Can any one give me any advice on international schools there as this will really determine where we end up living. Our daughter is 11 and we also have a 8 month old and another on the way, so play group etc would be great to.

Any info is greatly appreciated : )

Two closest international schools that I know of are Clearwater Bay School (Primary only) and Renaissance College (Y1-13). Both have long waitlists. There are other schools further, Japanese International, Hong Lok Yuen International and Norweigian International. There are bus pick ups from Sai Kung to the Australian International, French International and German-Swiss International.

My son is at Renaissance and we are loving it!

sai kung also offers the opportunity to utilise the local school system. there is a decent kindergarten (classes in cantonese, but all of the teachers speak some english and there are many, many non-chinese speakers attending).

there is also a local primary school which caters to non-chinese speakers but offers an english stream and a cantonese stream. putonghua is also taught.
