Schools in Discovery Bay: DMK or Sunshine?

Hi there!

I would like to ask for some input from current/past DMK or Sunshine schools students please? Junior is turning 2 soon, and is waitlisted at both schools' playgroup. Do you have any good/bad experiences with the schools that you would like to share please?

Hi! My son, who's almost 3 years old goes to Sunshine House and loves it....We sent our older son, who's now 5 there as well and he really enjoyed the class, especially Miss Gigi, who is absolutely wonderful with the kids. I like the fact that they are exposed to Mandarin and also the convenience of being in the Plaza. Very good experience for them both.

A few days after my initial question, we went to DM in the Plaza, and came back with such disappointment. We had another bad experience with them last weekend when they had an Open House Day. So for sure, we're going to Sunshine.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but I have the same question and am interested in any further comments/thoughts since those above. Thanks.

How did you find the carers? Did your child learn things (songs, words etc) or did you find the curriculum lacking? What were the other children like?
