Scan and older child

I'm due to have my 20 week scan at Queen Mary at the end of the month. I want my husband to be there, but if he comes there is no one to care for our 16 month old. Has anyone had to bring another child to a scan appointment. Is it going to cause a problem?
Thanks!

I take my daughter for my doc appointments, she stays in the waiting area with the helper while I get the scan done/ chat with the doc. Honestly she doesn't sit still for 5 mins except for the time she watches videos on youtube in the computer they have in the waiting area. So taking your daughter in QM scanning room might not be an issue although the nurses might raise an eyebrow at that but keeping her calm while the scan is being done with the lights down might be. Why dont you leave her with a friend for a playdate?

My daughter was 2 and she LOVED coming to the scans! She would amazingly sit still to watch the screen, and she was a busy kid! The Dr. always gave her a photo and she would carry it around showing off "her" baby!

I found a helper so all is well. I wish we could leave her from time to time for a playdate but that has yet to work out for us. Thanks for the info.
