For anyone who has been - we want to go for 3 days next week with a 4 year old and an 18 month old -

Where did you stay and did it work well for the children?

We stayed at the Mandarin Oriental, it was great! Best thing there was a kids play room, LOTS of toys, and hardly anyone there, so it was our own playroom for the entire stay.

Although the beach was very rough, couldn't go in at all for our stay in Sept, the pool in the hotel was great, it had a kids section with a little man-made beach.

Overall loved the hotel.
 
Just wanted to say how lovely it is to have information from other parents who know exactly what it is like! For instance that detail about the little man-made beach - perfect - just what kids really love sometimes and works if the sea is too rough etc..I love geobaby!!
 
We stayed at the Ritz in Yalong Bay. It was great, esp. for kids. Had a playroom, play ground, mini pool and man-made beach for kids. The restaraunts provided kid's tableware and even bibs!
 
in sanya.if you have someone there..you can book the hotel cheaper or if you have china ID.if you showing passport...waaahoooo..price is very high.....
