Are there any baby groups in Sai Kung? A friend of mine is moving here early next year and would like to find some mums with small babies.

Yes I have also jsut moved to the area and I have 9 month old twins. I would also like to get involved with groups and other mums!

As i said i am new to the area so dont know many meeting places. Do you know any parks near by or coffee shops baby friendly!
 
Only places I can really think of is somewhere near Sai Kung. Or even the Starbucks in SK.

Either that or somewhere in TKO is also good. I've only moved to this area for about a year so I am not too familiar with places either...:(
 
CWB/Sai Kung baby groups

Hi

I live in CWB, only moved here in April. I have a 2 yr old and a 5 month old, and would love to find a group for my new baby (my toddler goes to nursery 3 mornings a week already). If you guys managed to meet up or find any I would love to join!

Nope...no replies to this thread yet. The saddest thing is that I can either meet in Kowloong Tong, which is close to my mom's place...or in CWB/Sai Kung area. I have posted threads on a few messages but can't seem to get anyone to meet up!!:(:lurking::lurking:

Do you know the playroom at the Portofino in CWB on a Thursday? It is actually in the Adventist College hall, open 10am-1pm, then 2pm-6pm, $60 per child. Maybe we could meet there next Thursday? It is the only good baby group I know around here!

may you please advice more details of this Adventist College playgroup? ie cost, location, program rundown...etc,tks a lot.

Hi everyone, the playgroup is called Great Mate Play and is at the Adventist College on Clearwater Bay Road, where the Portofino is. The number 91, the 103 and the 103M buses stop there. It cost $60 per child and they have some snacks and drinks you can buy. There are loads of toys and a bouncy castle. The age range is 0-7yrs, and it's open 10am-1pm, then 2pm-6pm. I always go in the mornings as it is mainly babies and toddlers - the bigger kids tend to go after school in the afternoon.

I will be there on Thursday at about 10.30am if anyone wants to meet there?? If not, let's arrange another time??

Hello everyone,

Just in case anybody wanted to try going to this playroom in Adventist, know that "Great Mate Play" is closed this week for holidays but is open next week (31st of Dec) for the morning session only (10-13am).
