Rightmind Kindergarten

Interested in Rightmind/KinderU too

I am interested to hear about any mother's thoughts on Rightmind or KinderU? How do they compare with Montessori?

Montesorri promotes learning through self discovery. It also promotes mentorship between an elder and younger child. It is life skill based and its strength is not in literacy.

KinderU & Rightmind KG promote themselves as offering Doman and Shichida based right brain KG program and it claims that it can give children advanced early literacy with little effort

The above is my layman interpretation. Both sound interesting. A blend between the two would not be a bad idea :)

Right mind training certainly has its merits. It has actually helped my elder son to get an early start to read on his own and now I'm doing it with my younger daughter. Yet I doubt the usefulness of attending weekly playgroups of such kind. Doman's method emphaizes frequent daily exposure, which is impossible without the conscious effort of the family (whether the parents or the caretaker); sole reliance on an outsider simply doesn't work.

The speaker at the Kinderu seminar did mention that it is a 6/7 days task. What he said is that if I go 2 days I will need to do it myself at home for 4 days. I am clear about this.:yeah2
