Dear all,

My 2-year-old niece and nephew will visit Hong Kong very soon, and I wonder which restaurant I should take them too. As all the grown-ups in my family enjoy good food very much so I'm looking for restaurants that not only have space for kids to run around but also serve decent food. Any recommendation is highly appreciated. Thanks!

we recently took our 2 year to these places and he loved the food.

sml at times square.
the food comes in s, m,l. picky eater loved the portions and variety. we went off peak hours, so he could just run around abit.

pizza express at wanchai and stanley market.
serves great pizzas. and kids set that comes with entree, main, drink, dessert and cocoa for $68. they give out colouring pages and crayons and stickers to keep the child entertained. totally yum!

little fat sheep hotpot at cwb
you have to book in advance, it's very popular. we went off peak hours as well, so that he could walk around. he loved to particpate in cooking the food and actually ate them.

fat angelos at wanchai
western food. the kids set isnt as wow, but, they give out colouring pages, crayons and when the kid is restless, there's a ball machine to keep him entertained.

lian at ifc
off peak hours as well. we enjoy sitting near the water filled tables, it entertains the child. decent thai vietnamese food.

in addition to the above, cafe deco at the peak has a small play area with toys for kids. if you book a table near the kids area the adults can relax while kids play

You can do the brunch on sunday at the Top Deck, Jumbo restaurant in Aberdeen, very nice buffet, and a room with some toys and a baby sitter there to look after the kids.

The Mistrel at the Intercontinental hotel in TST East has a Leapfrog play room on Sundays (they also have WII for the bigger kids), parents can enjoy the Italian Buffet while kids play in the playroom and join the adults whenever they want. They also have a member of staff looking after the playroom.
