Regular sweet potatoes

This might sound trivial but where can I buy regular orange/yellow sweet potatoes? Everywhere from Citysuper to local veggie market I see only purple ones which are not half as sweet as the regular sweet potatoes. Even when cooked the purple ones aren't so gooey. Would appreciate if anyone can share sweet potato experience :thanks

I have always been able to buy the orange ones at my local Wellcome whenever I've wanted them.
 
I have bought them at Great, Wellcome on Robinson Road, veggie shop near park&shop on Caine road and the Graham Street market.

Perhaps I was just lucky........
 
I see only purple sweet potatoes and yams (Which looks like orange/ yellow sweet potato). Thanks for your replies, It seems I need to look more carefully next time :)
 
you can get the ones you are talking about at many supermarkets. they are imported from the USA and are quite expensive, but VERY yummy!

they sometimes even have organic ones at park'n'shop

citysuper has australian organic ones (not all the time), great has them too (also not all the time) and the organic veg shop in caine road had local ones. good luck! it really depends on your luck!!! :)

I found some at the small organic market which is at the Star Ferry departure pier on the wednesday afternoons... they are not as nice as in any shops, a few holes, but quite good.
