Recent delivery at Mathilda with Dr. Lord?

Hello mommies,
Has anyone recently delivered at Mathilda with Dr. Lord and willing to share your experience?

Hi Syl,

I just delivered at Matilda with Dr. Lord 4 weeks ago. She was great- respected my birth plan for no episiotomy and helped me quite a bit through pushing stage. I only got 3 stitches by the end of it. I had a very normal delivery so her follow up was not that hard.

Do you have any specific questions?
 
I have just found out I am pregnant and will also be seeing Dr Lucy Lord. Am very interested too in those who have experienced her technique. Thanks
 
Since I originally opened this thread I thought I might share my experience with mom's to be.

I had an amazing experience with Dr. Lord at Mathilda for my #2 C-section. The anesthetist was also great. My first C-section was at QMH for 350hkd--don't get me wrong! I can't complain about the procedure because of the price, but if you can afford better care, then do it.

I feared the 2nd c-section all along, but much of the fear vanished once Dr. Lord and all the staff started their work in the surgery room.

I haven't delivered yet (due mid-Sept) but Dr Lord will be delivering me at Matilda (hopefully). My application for the Matilda has been declined, but that's normal, apparently! Dr Lord has been fab so far...and all the staff at her surgery are lovely too.
