Receiving blankets...where are they?

In China they are nowhere to be seen. What about Hong Kong? I just want plain cotton-flannel receiving blankets. And I don`t really want to pay designer prices for them either. What happened to the good old days??

They are very easy to make, just cut a square piece of flannel and hem the edge. I found in Canada it is easy to buy small ones, but as your baby gets a bit bigger I ended up making my own anyways. You can also take a flat crib sheet and cut is down into a square if you can't find flannel or a fabric store.

Spotlight (Megabox in Kowloon) has a lot of them. Wing On department stores also stock them in their baby section. And you can buy some from Shopinhk.com

i always go to Stanley, those children clothing stalls sell loads of them. very good quality altho (branded) but they're very reasonably priced. can also find some along the outlets on Johnston road in Wanchai.
