Ready made formula

Just wondering if anyone knows whether it is possible to get ready made formula for babies in HK? Just returned from a trip to the UK and found life so much easier when I used the ready made milk formulas bought in the local supermarket. Going out was so easy! I just took a disposable bottle and a carton of ready made. I just used and threw it away after.
 
That's exactly what we did in the UK too - not only was it so easy I worked out it was cheaper to not do my bit for the environment then buy sterilizing tablets etc!

I haven't looked latety but BTB used to sell SMA carton milk in the food aisle (suprisingly enough!).

Well,

I foun carrying the pre-measured powder and a small thermos not that much of a problem. The formula dispensers that you can get in supermarkets are pretty handy.

Once the kids got a bit bigger, I would sometimes make a bottle and put it in the fridge. Then when it was time to go out, I'd just put it in my handbag. After an hour or two when bb was ready to drink, I would just give it. We never had a problem of sick tummy.

CitySuper used to have Enfamil cans. I haven't been there in a while so not sure if they still carry them.

What does BTB stand for (in message posted by "Slee")??

Also where in HK i can purchase "sterilizing tablets"?? Are they better than using "Vapouriser" for sterilizing bottles?

b. No, sterilizing tablets leave a supposedly harmless chemical residue on bottles etc which has to be rinsed off with lots of boiled water to get the taste off but when you're on holiday it's a lot easier to cart a packet of tablets about then a steam sterilizer!
 
BTB - checked their Central store and they do not stock any Ready-made formula.

CITY SUPER (TST) - they do have enfamil Ready-made formula in huge 1 litre CAN version, which is quite large. You'll have to keep any used in the frigde & use within next 48 hours.

Anyone know if smaller size are available in HK???
(8oz can, 3oz / 6oz Nursette glass bottle) I guess that this is much better for going out / afternoon trip.
 
I'm sorry to lead you astray about the formula in BTB. They defintiely used to have it - did you try asking the staff in there? Most have little clue what is going on but the girl in charge is really good - she should set up her own baby shop!
 
It's fine, i was there to purchasing other things also.

I did asked the staff about Ready-made formulas, but she said they never had it in stock, only the powdered Formulas.
