Rash - Little Red Dots

Hi,

Just noticed a rash on my 3 month old baby. Its on her forehead and looks exactly like little red dots a fine tip pen would make!

She seems ok but I have never seen this rash before.....

Any idea's?

Could be many things. The first thing I would do is put pressure on the rash and see if it disappears. If it does ok. ( I am paranoid about Meningitis!) It could be heat rash? My 9 month old had a rash like this no other symptoms and the doc said it was a virus. It cleared up after a few days.

My baby had a rash of red dots in a circular pattern.
The doc said it was hives.
He did prescribe a lotion but I didnt use it as my baby was less than a month old at that time and it eventually goes away by itself.
Your baby is very young. You should let your doc have a look, just to rule out anything serious.
