Having brought my radiator out for the winter I cannot keep my 1 year old's hands off it. Are there fire guards, or similar, available in HK? Anyone know where I could buy one?
 
Is yours some very old model? If its a new model radiator, they dont get hot enough to be able to burn quickly.

Put another way, you would have to keep your hands firmly pressed for more than 5 seconds before anything would burn. Most little ones will touch it and in 1/2 second take their hands away; there may be a tear or 2 but no damage would be done.
For most kids, once they do this, they wont do it again.
 
No, they are new. Oil radiators, and a couple that are similar, not quite sure how to describe them. Bought last year only.

I think they get hot though. They are very hot to me.
 
Oh, yes, they certainly are hot but they will also have some kind of coating on them making them much much harder to get burned from compared to ones from years ago.

I know its not a fun thing for most people todo, but feel free to try it - you will not get burned from an accidental touch.
In order to get burned with these new models, you will need to touch it for an extended period of time.
