QMH private rooms charges?

Hi everyone

I'm a high risk pregnancy as I have had DVT. To be on the safe side, I think I will deliver at QMH as it seems they are better equipped for emergency situations. However, my insurance will cover some private care and I'd like my husband to be able to visit more than twice a day, so am considering a private room. It's very difficult to find clear information online about the fees and charges for going private at QMH. Does anyone have the latest information or any experience to share?

I can't remember the costs, but I do remember that as a private patient your visitors only get an extra hour visit per day. So 4 hours compared to the general 3.
