QMH Maternity pads

I heard QMH advise mothers to use the old style (non-adhesive) maternity pads...can anyone kindly advise me on the brand and where I may buy some?

Thank you!

I just bought the regular ones. I figured I'm the one going to be wearing them, what's it to them what type I wear?

Actually Nicole, just after I delivered there the nurse told me the brand of pads and bed protector I had would not do. So my husband rushed to the 7/11 and bought their preferred brand.

They didn't mind me not having "stick on" pads (that was October 08 - but my daughter was born at nearly midnight so maybe they didn't want to make a fuss then?) *shrugs* - although using them with disposable undies, I didn't even use the sticky bit anyway. I think that disposable undies are great because they do get gunky easily and it's nice having something to just chuck out rather than needing to soak/wash your regular undies...

They gave me the non-adhesive pads at Matilda, and I used the adhesive pads when I came home. Tried both, no difference to me, so would prefer the adhesive pad to the non-adhesive for obvious reasons :)

the important thing is that what you buy will be sufficient of a heavier flow. the thin type of maxi pads you will soak through really fast the first few days so thicker is better. whether they have adhesive or not is completely irrelevant.
