Public Hospital Kit details here

Hi there,

Just confirming/updating the maternity kit you can get from Ah aching Co on Eastern Street near Tsan Yuk hospital. Today I got mine for $188 and here are the photos. There are still other things I need like diapers and wet wipes and cotton balls they tell me and will follow what Annerley says about 3 separate bags for pre andnpsot labour and baby care. It?s on another forum here if you?re wondering. I will also condense this bag a bit from Ah Chi as I don?t think I?ll need 10underpads for the bed or all the maternity pads etc, I will keep some at home so if it?s a longer stay (hoping to be out in 24hrs!!) someone can bring the extras for me.

Sorry that should read Ah Chi Co. 38 Eastern Street. Also got my GroSnug (newborn GroBag) for $30 cheaper than the big brand stores. Everything a bit cheaper there and really nice couple running it. Tiny place with stuff climbing the walls!

I used all 10 of the underpads during my stay - I?d take the pack! The midwifes also double up maternity pads too (necessary, sadly!). This was just my experience, of course, but I?d take the lot just to be on the safe side!
