Private Doctor - Deliver QMH

Hi...
I'm now 6 wks. I am thinking of going half-half route. But I have called several doctors and none of them accept a public patient.
I have checked with Dr. Edmund Hon. Dr. Gosh, Dr. Patrick Chan, Dr. Felix Wong.

Should I keep mum and just come for the first visit? But I really don't want to waste 1st consultation fee

Advice please.....

There are a few Drs that don't mind seeing patients who plan on delivering in a Public Hospital. Eric Lee is one of them.

Also Sally Ferguson is coming back to HK this month.

My obs is Dr Edmund Hon. He told me that he doesn't mind if I go to public hospital for delivery. But I've change mind. I am going to private hospital because my husband's company does provide good insurance cover.

You may reconfirm about it with Dr Hon again.

Dr. Derek Lo also. I'm seeing him as my private ob but then i'll be delivering at QMH. Plus, he is so nice and caring.

I am seeing Dr Doo and delivering at QMH; he has no problem with it and I feel I have received the same care and attention at my check ups as patients delivering with him.
