primary schools in Happy Valley area, from London

Hi, we've finally got our date for moving to HK, 5th Aug, and are looking at schools. Hubby's work have suggested a couple, Bradbury and German Swiss Int'l. We have applied for these, but does anyone know of any others, that have good reputations? Many thanks Karen

you could contact the South China Morning Post to get a copy of their Good Schools Guide. Not sure what the best way to contact them is, but you could try the email: [email protected]
You might also want to look at the French Int'l School (not necessary to be bilingual) and Hong Kong Academy - both fairly near Happy Valley. Lots of other choices, but it depends on how far you want the child(ren) to travel in the mornings.

YOu should be aware that GSIS is moving their primary school to Ma On Shan (New Territories) in a couple of years time - so this should be a factor.
There's also the Hong Kong Academy in Stubbs Road, and Chinese International, and Quarry Bay School not too far away.
Good Luck - get onto it ASAP! INternational School places are hard to come by!

how old is your child? There is also Parkview International School [PIPS] near Happy Valley
 
:thankssorry, haven't replied to threads, felt like head doesn't belong to my body! We're finally here, arrived last tues, and just trying to settle in and find my bearings really at the moment.

Our boy is 6, 7 on 28th, and he has a test to get on the waiting list for the GSIS next week. We have also applied to Bradbury and the French Int'l school, so at the moment it's a waiting game. Hubby will be chasing Bradbury next week.
