Before I finally enroll for one of the classes offered by different institutions in Hong Kong, I would like to know if anybody could recommend me a specific course?
Did anyone try the classes at THE FAMILY ZONE? Or should I better go with the course offered at the Adventist Hospital since I?m going to have my baby there?
I would appreciate any recommendations! Thanks

Im intrested in the classes as well. But I live in Tung Chung and I dont want to go too far. As I am too going to the Baptisit Hospital, but its far for me to go to the classes there. thanks

i'm going to sanatorium hospital but the courses offered are all in cantonese? does anyone know of any affordable english course available in kowloon side? btw, what do they teach in this classes? i'll be attending a hypnobirth class in mid oct. wonder if its necessary to attend a separate session of pre-natal child birth class?

We went to the Family Zone fast track course in Central. We only had three 2-hour classes so it wasn't too hard for my husband to come after work, and had plenty of opportunity to ask questions. The booklet Yvonne gave us was also quite helpful. The course was nearly half the cost of the Matilda classes.
I'm afraid I don't know of any courses on Kowloon side in English but really recommend this one.
Oh, and she can give you a letter for the public hospitals to say your partner was at the classes so they can attend the delivery if it's required.

the english class at hk adventist is okay- it's informative however did not have as much breathing technique as i would've liked to have learned... it's more of a introductory/ what goes on during labor/stages etc and nat. birth vs c sec etc...

I went to the Annerley course and it was ok. Not much that i couldn't have read myself on the internet or in the books but a good chance to meet other mums and dads to be. Now that I am having no.2, I am not going to bother with another set of classes. If you are going to a private hospital and having your specialist there then you should be in good hands anyway.

I had my first at Matilda and had no compulsion to do the antenatal classes there. The Annerley classes in Central suited me better than the Matilda ones at the Peak.
